Bulgaria's Plovdiv water utility opens 8.6 mln euro infrastructure repair tender

January 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian water utility company ViK Plovdiv said on Monday that it has launched a tender for a 16.8 million levs ($10.4 million/8.6 million euro) contract for the reconstruction of part of Plovdiv's water supply and sewage infrastructure.

The contract envisages the construction of 5.7 kilometres of water supply and sewage pipelines, the water utility company said in a tender notice.

The project benefits from EU funding under operational programme Environment 2014-2020.

The deadline for submitting offers is February 24. Bids will be ranked based on price and technical criteria, with 50% each.
