Romanian electricity distribution network operator Distributie Energie Electrica Romania (DEER), a wholly-owned subsidiary of local power supplier and distributor Electrica, said it plans to invest a record 1.48 billion lei ($323.2 million/282.8 million euro) in its distribution network in 2026, up from 878 million lei in 2025.
