U.S.-based energy storage company Nuvve Holding Corp said its Danish subsidiary has signed an agreement to acquire Romanian project company BESS Sibiu, which is developing a 42 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in Romania's central city of Sibiu.

Romanian renewables group Waldevar Holding said on Thursday that it has completed the acquisition of high-voltage electrical infrastructure solutions company Elemo for an undisclosed amount.

Serbian battery developer ElevenEs expects that its planned 1GWh mega factory in the northern city of Subotica will become operational in the second half of 2027 amid growing global demand for high-power solutions for AI data centres and heavy industry, CEO Nemanja Mikac told SeeNews.
