Romanian corporate venture capital firm BCR Seed Starter, part of Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) Group, has invested 500,000 euro ($570,456) in local technology company Licenseware, BCR Group said on Wednesday.

A new interim policy guidance, aimed at restricting the use of EU funding instruments for clean energy projects involving inverters and power conversion systems (PCS) from so-called high-risk suppliers, poses serious threats for Central and Eastern Europe's energy security and independence, especially in times of heightened geopolitical tensions, industry specialists have warned.
