Banca Transilvania raises 700 mln euro in ESG bond issue

Romania's Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] said that it has raised 700 million euro ($780.5 million) through its second environmental, social and governance (ESG) bond issue, which was more than three times oversubscribed.

N. Macedonia banks' green loan portfolio grows 14.9% y/y in H1

The green loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks increased by 14.9% year-on-year, reaching 20.4 billion denars ($370.3 million/331.7 million euro) by the end of the first half of 2024, the central bank said on Tuesday.

Romania grants 13.4 mln euro for renewable energy projects

Romania's energy ministry said it has offered 66.56 million lei ($14.65 million/13.38 million euro) in non-refundable Modernisation Fund financing to several universities and municipalities to finance the development of renewable energy sources (RES) and storage capabilities.
