Kosovo’s harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) increased by 1.4% year-on-year in August, following a 2.2% annual rise in July, the statistical office said on Friday.

Kosovo's finance ministry sold 10 million euro ($11.1 million) worth of ten-year Treasury notes at an auction held on September 5, in line with plan, the central bank said on Friday.

Kosovo’s industry ministry said it has signed a 2.67 million euro ($2.95 million) contract with the municipality of the central town of Lipjan for the fifth stage of a project for the construction of an industrial park in the village of Qylage.

Kosovo’s consolidated budget was in surplus of 103.5 million euro ($114.2 million) in the second quarter of 2024, up from 8.5 million euro in the prior-year period, the statistical office said.
