Bulgaria's draft state budget for 2026 which projects a cash deficit of 7.19 billion euro ($8.2 billion), equivalent to 5.7% of gross domestic product (GDP), shows the risks to the economy and public finances from fiscal easing in recent years, global ratings agency Fitch said.
North Macedonia's finance ministry said on Wednesday it has transferred an additional 148.6 million denars ($2.7 million/2.4 million euro) to the state-owned Development Bank to back investment projects by domestic companies.
