Slovenian entrepreneurs will be able to reach shoppers across the European Union more easily under a new partnership between global e-commerce platform Temu and Start:up Slovenia, the Slovenian organisation said on Wednesday.

Romanian corporate venture capital firm BCR Seed Starter, part of Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) Group, has invested 500,000 euro ($570,456) in local technology company Licenseware, BCR Group said on Wednesday.

Croatian marketing technology company Hypefy, creator of an AI platform that simplifies and automates influencer marketing campaigns, said it has closed a $7.2 million (6.3 million euro) Series A led by local venture capital fund manger AYMO Ventures.

U.S. technology giant Nvidia has acquired California-headquartered Kumo AI, a next-generation predictive enterprise AI platform co-founded by Slovenian computer scientist Jure Leskovec, in a transaction valued at an estimated $400 million (346 million euro) at least, Slovenian media reported.
