The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said on Wednesday it has slightly lowered its forecast for Croatia's 2026 economic growth to 2.6%, from 2.7% projected in December.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said on Wednesday it has lowered its forecast for Slovenia's economic growth this year to 1.9%, from the 2.3% projection it made in December.

Croatia’s consumer prices rose by 5.2% on the year in May, following an annual increase of 5.8% in April, the statistical office said in a flash estimate on Tuesday.

Bulgaria recorded the highest annual inflation rate under the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) among eurozone member states in May, at an estimated 6.3%, Eurostat said on Tuesday.

Bulgaria’s consumer prices are estimated to have grown by 7% year-on-year in May, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday.
