Romanian power supplier and distributor Electrica said on Tuesday it has obtained technical grid connection permits for 17 battery energy storage system (BESS) projects with a combined capacity of around 700 megawatt-hours (MWh).

The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation declined to 411 GWh in May from 459 GWh in the same month of 2025, the entity's statistical office said.
