The Croatian stock indices ended lower on Friday, for a second day in a row, amidst losses in most of the blue chips, bourse data showed.
Croatian construction company Tehnika said on Friday it has signed a 10.6 million euro ($12 million) deal for reconstruction and modernisation of two accommodation buildings of the Zagreb University.
Croatian lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) said on Friday it received clearance from the national competition authority to acquire smaller Croatia Banka.
The financial assets of the Croatian economy totalled 517 billion euro ($591 billion) at the end of the first quarter of this year, up by 5.5 billion euro compared to the previous quarter and higher by 34.5 billion euro on an annual level, the central bank said on Friday.
Bosnia and Herzegovina-based cable manufacturer TT Kabeli is investing more than 46 million euro ($53 million) in a new factory for medium- and high-voltage cables in Poznanovec, northern Croatia, the Croatian economy ministry said.
