The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) slight rose on Friday, for a fifth session in a row, despite a decline in turnover, bourse data showed.

Croatian non-life insurer Hrvatska Osiguravajuca Kuca (HOK) [ZSE:3HOK] said it closed the first half of 2024 with a pre-tax profit of 1.3 million euro ($1.5 million), down 12.44% on the year, as it recorded a net loss from insurance contracts.

Croatian electricity producer OIE Molve has submitted a request for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of a project for the construction of two solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants with an overall installed capacity of 19.4 MWp, the ministry of environmental protection and green transition said on Friday.

Croatia's industrial sales rose 4.5% on the year in July, following a drop of 5.8% in June, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
