Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) said it plans to lower the minimum acceptance threshold in its takeover offer for Southeast Europe-focused Addiko Bank, following a similar move by rival bidder Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI).

Montenegro expects to receive by October a further 97.3 million euro ($111 million) in financing from the EU's 6 billion euro Reform and Growth Plan for the Western Balkans after successfully implementing most of the required reform measures in the first half of 2026, European affairs minister Maida Gorcevic said.

Montenegro's state-owned airport operator Aerodromi Crne Gore (ACG) served nearly 1.5 million passengers since the start of the year until early July, up by 17% compared to the same period of 2025, which was the best year on record for the country's two international airports, CEO Roko Tolic said.

Montenegro's state-controlled power producer Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) is seeking the government's approval to take out a long-term loan of 64.2 million euro ($71.3 million) to finance 10 renewable energy projects of 95.87 MW in total installed capacity, the cabinet said.

Montenegro’s annual consumer price inflation stayed unchanged at 3.6% in June with monthly inflation also remaining at 0.4%, the same as in May, the statistical office said on Friday.
