Montenegro opens tender for Phase 1 of Velje Brdo housing project

Montenegro's public works ministry said it has opened a 40 million euro ($45.5 million) tender for the main project design and for construction works on Phase 1 of the first housing units of the Velje Brdo residential project nortwest of the capital Podgorica that aims to provide housing to citizens under favourable terms.

Montenegro to open tenders for 16.5 mln euro power line upgrade project in July

Montenegro’s electricity transmission system operator, Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES), will launch in July tenders for goods and consultancy services under a 16.5 million euro ($18.8 million) project for the upgrade of a 220 kV overhead transmission line linking the country with neighbouring Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.

Montenegro's Jugopetrol opens first fuel station on Bar-Boljare motorway

Montenegrin fuel retailer and oil products distributor Jugopetrol opened a fuel station, the first one on the Bar-Boljare motorway that will link the country's Adriatic coast in the south with its northern border with Serbia, state-controlled motorway operator Monteput said.

UK relaxes sanctions-related payment rules for Lukoil International

The UK's Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) said it has amended a temporary licence which allows for the continuation of business operations with Lukoil International, an Austria-based holding company for the Russian oil major's foreign assets, removing a requirement that payments be made into frozen accounts.
