Bulgaria recorded the highest annual increase in the industrial producer price index (PPI) in the European Union in April, at 14.5%, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
Romania's manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 48.3 points in May, from 47.5 points in April, Austrian banking group Erste said on Tuesday.
Montenegro's industrial output increased by an annual 8.6% in the first four months of 2026 thanks to higher utilities production following the return to operations of the country's sole thermal power plant - TE Pljevlja, as of December, the statistical office said.

Croatia's industrial output fell 2.1% on the year in April, after it rose 0.8% in March, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.
