Albania’s power grid operator opens 10 mln euro substation tenders

July 1 (SeeNews) - Albania’s power grid operator, OSSH, said on Monday it has opened tender procedures for the construction of two substations, with estimated budgets totalling 999.4 million leks ($10.7 million/9.96 million euro).

Of the total, 599.4 million leks have been earmarked for the construction of a high voltage substation in the southwestern village of Kafaraj, within 18 months, OSSH said in a tender notice.

As many as 340 million leks is the estimated budget for the construction of a high-voltage substation in the southern village of Piqeras, within a 14-month timeframe.

Bids for both tenders can be submitted until July 16.
