Flights on the new route will be operated three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, according to Kosova Airlines’ flight schedule.

Kosova Airlines connects Pristina mainly to destinations in Germany and Switzerland.

It is the first Kosovan airline, established in 2003 by the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and the country's government. It leases aircraft from international airlines operating at the airport of Pristina.

Kosova Airlines is wholly-owned by local businessman Naim Ejupi.
