Kosovo’s NLB Banka launches Google Pay integration

By updating the NLB Pay app through the Google Play Store, users can add their payment cards to Google Pay and begin making payments seamlessly, the bank said in a social media post on Tuesday.

Google Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for contactless payments. NFC allows devices, such as mobile phones and payment terminals to communicate with each other, typically within a few centimetres.

NLB Banka introduced NLB Pay in 2019, initially using a custom-developed NFC technology.
