Industrial sales on the non-domestic market declined 5.7% year-on-year in May, while sales on the domestic market rose 5.9%, according to a monthly report released by the Federation's statistical office.
In May, sales of non-durable consumer goods increased by 9.7% on an annual comparison basis, while sales of intermediate goods went up 0.2% and sales of capital goods fell 14.8%. Energy sales decreased by 2% and sales of durable consumer goods fell 12.6%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales went up 2.5% in May, following a revised 1.1% drop in April.
The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation fell by 10.8% on the year in 2023, the same office has said earlier.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
