Bulgaria's retail sales rise 1.6% y/y in May

July 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's retail sales at constant prices, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles, grew by an annual 1.6% in May after jumping by a revised 9.9% in April, the country's statistical office said on Friday, citing preliminary data.

On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover at constant prices slipped by 0.8% in May, following a revised increase of 1.3% in April, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report.
