Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia up 17% y/y in May

July 5 (SeeNews) - A total of 133,727 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in May, up 17% year-on-year, official figures showed on Friday.

Foreign tourists spent 258,206 overnights in Bosnia in May, up 15.7% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.

The total number of tourists who visited the country in May was 188,719, up 12.5% on the year. Total tourist overnights increased 11.4% to 371,178.

In May most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Turkey (18,857), Serbia (16,797) and Croatia (13,306).
