Montenegrin postal operators combined revenue rises 25% in 2023

July 5 (SeeNews) - The combined revenue of postal operators in Montenegro rose 25% to 23.43 million euro ($25.3 million) in 2023, according to data from the national telecommunications regulator, EKIP.

State-owned Posta Crne Gore had an 81.5% share of the total revenue of the postal services sector in 2023, EKIP said in a statement on its website.

A total of 26 postal operators were active in Montenegro last year.

Posta Crne Gore saw its revenue rise 22% last year. The other operators' revenue from postal services jumped 39% in 2023.

The volume of postal services in Montenegro rose 15% to 41,469,098 last year, with Posta Crne Gore accounting for 98% of the total. Some 97% of the postal services traffic was carried out on the domestic market.

Posta Crne Gore's volume of services rose 14% last year, while the other 25 operators saw the number of executed postal services increase 36%.
