Foreign tourists spent 64,392 overnights in the Serb Republic last month, which represents an annual increase of 22.5%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in May came from Serbia (11,222), followed by tourists from Slovenia (3,448) and Croatia (3,128).
The total number of tourists in the entity rose 6.8% on the year to 49,133 in May. The overall number of overnights rose 15.1% to 113,444.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
