“We have installed state-of-the-art equipment and we expect fast growth on the back of medium-sized orders of contract manufacturing,” Ivo Varganov told SeeNews from Vratza, western Bulgaria, where the firm is located.
Rommtech-3S has secured 50% of the financing under a Dutch entrepreneurial programme. The remainder has been split between Bulgarian-based Intelligent Security Systems and Dutch engineering firm Rommtech that have established the 50/50 joint venture company Rommtech-3S.
Large companies are for large orders of contract manufacturing like Belgian-owned EPIQ in Bulgaria, while Rommtech-3S is for small and medium-sized orders of some 5,000 units per month,” said Varganov.
Rommtech-3S offers guaranteed origin of components and quick production and delivery, targeting small and medium companies in the European Union.
The company has set a target of 250,000 euro turnover by November 2008 and plans to reach 1.0 million euro for 2009.
It plans to buy more machines shortly, said Varganov, but gave no timeframe and investment.
Intelligent Security Systems has contributed land and buildings estimated at 1.0 million euro for Rommtech-3S (www.rommtech-3s.com).
