A 2.05% advance in IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] to 69.80 levs and a 1.43% rise in diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] to 0.71 levs spurred on the benchmark index.

The two companies also drove up the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The biggest gainer in both indices, however, was venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C], which leapt 5.59% to 18.90 levs.

Overall, the BGBX40 index went up 0.29% to 168.06 points, whereas the BGTR30 grew by 0.17% to 853.28 points.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, climbed by 0.13% to 190.31 points after a 0.63% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.21 levs.

Meanwhile, a 31.18% surge in electric vehicle manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] to 0.488 levs mostly boosted the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, ended the session 0.90% higher at 106.82 points.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse rose to 722,895 levs ($400,066/369,609 euro) on Friday from 687,990 levs on Thursday.

Eleven Capital was the day's top stock by turnover, generating 219,696 levs as 11,883 shares traded.
