Most Sofia bourse indices end higher, Sirma, Shelly sap SOFIX

June 28 (SeeNews) - Three of the five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the week in green territory, whereas the blue-chip SOFIX fell by 0.16% to 847.68 points, bourse data showed.

The benchmark index was hit by a 2.91% dip in software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 1.00 lev and a 1.69% slip in IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] to 69.80 levs.

The two companies also set back the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.11% to 168.27 points. It was additionally impacted by fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH], which shed 3.70% to 18.20 levs.

Meanwhile, the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went up 0.06% to 851.76 points. The losses at Sirma and Shelly were compensated by a 3.98% leap in venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 18.30 levs.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, grew by 0.35% to 190.82 points on the back of a 0.94% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.23 levs.

Venture capital firm Webit Investment Network [BUL:WIN], which added 2.56% to 1.00 lev lifted the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, advanced by 0.13% to 103.40 points.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse declined to 1.09 million levs ($596,097/557,306 euro) on Friday from 1.68 million levs on Thursday.

At 149,480 levs, the highest turnover of the day was generated by diversified group Republic Holding [BUL:HREP] after 74,000 shares changed hands. The stock closed 1.51% higher at 2.02 levs.
