Bulgaria's Trace Group wins 2.8 mln euro street reconstruction contract

December 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian civil engineering company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] said on Tuesday it was awarded a 5.46 million levs ($2.95 million/2.79 million euro) street reconstruction contract by the municipality of Stara Zagora.

The works should be completed within 24 months from the signing of the contract, the company said in a bourse filing.

As at CET 1403 on Tuesday, shares in Trace Group traded flat at 3.40 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

Most recently, the company was awarded a 8.79 million levs contract to conduct restoration works at Kremikovtsi Monastery of Saint George, an Orthodox monastery located near Sofia. In October, a consortium led by Trace Group won a 169.7 million euro ($173 million) order for the reconstruction and modernisation of a railway section in Serbia.

Trace Group reported in November a consolidated net loss of 4.34 million levs for the first nine months of 2022, after posting a profit of 2.24 million levs for the same period of 2021.
