The BELEX15 added 0.30%, closing at 1,000.22 points.
Dunav Osiguranje was the sole blue-chip gainer on Thursday, climbing 3.99% up to 1,042 dinars at close and generating the largest turnover among the blue chips, of 2.0 million dinars.
At the other end, household appliances manufacturer Metalac [BEL:MTLC] was the only blue-chip decliner, shedding 2.94% to close at 1,650 dinars in a volume of 7 shares.
Outside the blue chips, bakery firm Zitopek [BEL:ZTPK], which gained 0.08% to 7,899 dinars at close, generated the single largest turnover for the day, of 6.9 million dinars. In late June, local bakery Don Don, part of Slovenian industrial baked goods maker Don Don Group, launched a buyout bid for the remaining 49.20% of Zitopek it does not already own, with the offer valid until July 15.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.11% higher at 2,236.72 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 14.8 million dinars ($138,000/128,000 euro) on Thursday from 7.8 million dinars on Wednesday.
