June 27 (SeeNews) - The management of Bosnia and Herzegovina's diversified holding company Infinity International Group said on Thursday that it will assume ownership of the group following the withdrawal of owner Djordje Djuric, about a week after the U.S. imposed sanctions on both Djuric and the group.

Bosnia's Infinity International to change ownership after U.S. sanctions

Infinity International Group's managers are expected to develop a model for implementing the ownership change within the next ten days, ensuring business continuity and the preservation of jobs, the group said in a Facebook post.

"The management will continue to look for sustainable business models to ensure the future of the company and its employees," the group said.

The U.S. Treasury Department last week imposed sanctions on Djuric, a citizen of Serbia, as well as on Infinity International Group and its subsidiaries, for serving as major revenue sources for Bosnian Serb nationalist leader Milorad Dodik and his family.
