In May, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 0.9% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities rose 0.8%, and transportation prices grew 4.5%. Prices of restaurants and hotels rose 7.1%, prices of healthcare services increased 3.3% and prices of miscellaneous goods and services went up 5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices decreased 0.2% in May, after adding 0.1% in April.
Bosnia's average annual inflation abated to 6.1% last year, from 14% in 2022, the statistical office has said earlier.
