Albania's retail sales rise 4.9% y/y in Q1

Albania's retail sales increased by a real 4.9% year-on-year in the first quarter, almost unchanged from the fourth quarter of 2023, the country's statistical office, INSTAT, said on Thursday.

On a quarterly comparison basis, retail sales increased by 1.7% in the January-March period, higher than the 1.1% quarterly growth rate in the October-December quarter of 2023, INSTAT said in a quarterly report.
