Potential investors and companies from Japan interested in doing business in Serbia will be able to gain local first-hand information and necessary advisory services from Mizuho Bank, RAS said in a statement on Tuesday.

The cooperation intends to support strategic investments in Serbia and to contribute to the business expansion, RAS said.

Additionally, RAS and Mizuho Bank would exchange valuable knowledge and experience, and continue to facilitate dialogue between Japanese and Serbian companies, the agency noted.

Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe, Mizuho Bank has a similar agreement signed in Romania, RAS added.

RAS is a governmental organisation aiming to facilitate and implement direct investments, promote and increase exports, and improve the competitiveness of the Serbian economy, and enhance the reputational, economic, and rural development of Serbia.
