Romania’s construction output down 2.6% in Jan-April

June 19 (SeeNews) - Romania’s construction output fell by 2.6% on the year during the first four months of 2024, the country’s statistical office, INS, said on Wednesday, citing working-day adjusted data.

On a seasonally unadjusted comparison basis, construction production edged down by an annual 0.2% in the four months through April, INS said in a statement.

In April alone, the volume of construction works increased by an annually adjusted 13% and rose by an adjusted monthly 8%.
