Belgrade bourse BELEX15 rises thanks to gains in Dunav Osiguranje

June 27 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose on Thursday, thanks to gains in insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS], bourse data showed.

The BELEX15 added 0.07%, closing at 983.91 points.

Dunav Osiguranje was the sole blue-chip gainer on Thursday, rising 0.93% to close at 978 dinars as 329 shares traded.

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the only blue-chip decliner, dropping 0.38% to close at 797 dinars as 170 stocks changed hands.

Outside the blue chips, hydraulic fittings manufacturer PPT Armature [BEL:PPTA], which gained 0.46% to 660 dinars at close, generated the single largest turnover of 772,000 dinars for the day.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.29% higher at 2,213.26 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse declined to 2.8 million dinars ($27,400/25,600 euro) on Thursday from 24.9 million dinars on Wednesday when trading in government securities generated 23 million dinars of the total.
