Gross foreign debt at the end of the first quarter was equivalent to 81% the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2024, the central bank said in a statement.
Compared with the previous three-month period, North Macedonia's gross foreign debt was up 2.9% at the end of March.
The country's net foreign debt totalled 4.3 billion euro at the end of March, up 3.6% on an annual comparison basis.
