N. Macedonia increases electricity prices for most households

June 28 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Energy and Water Services Regulatory Commission (ERC) said it will increase prices for electricity used by the majority of households starting July 1, following a request from the country's universal electricity supplier, EVN Home.

N. Macedonia increases electricity prices for most households

Electricity prices will increase by about 0.4% for approximately 88% of households in tier 1 and tier 2, ERC said in a press release on Thursday.

For consumers in tier 3, which comprise about 8% of households, the price will increase by 0.48%, and for tier 4, the price will increase by 0.57%, Marko Bislimoski, president of ERC, said in the statement.
