Kosovo’s GDP growth speeds up to 5.62% y/y in Q1

According to the finance minister, Kosovo’s VISA waiver with Europe's borderless Schengen zone earlier in January has contributed to the growth, as it has facilitated business activities.

The statistics office has yet to publish final data for Kosovo’s economic growth for the fourth quarter of 2023.

In December, Kosovo's central bank said it projected the country’s economy to expand by 4.2%.
