Through this transaction, Croatia Airlines has finalised its fleet renewal process, in line with the company's post-Covid strategy, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse. The state-controlled flag carrier did not disclose specific financial details regarding the deal.
The strategy entails Croatia Airlines transitioning to a more sustainable and efficient business model by replacing its entire fleet with a unified, jet-powered aircraft type by 2026.
Croatia Airlines' shares last traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Monday, when they closed flat at 5 euro ($5.43).
