Croatian share indices recoup, turnover plunges

June 27 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange rebounded on Thursday despite a drop of regular turnover to just 907,500 euro ($972,000) from 1.6 million euro a day earlier, bourse data showed.

The 21-share equity benchmark, the CROBEX, advanced 0.34% to close at 2,820.84 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.49% to 1,688.77 points.

The most traded company was ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] with a turnover of 133,200 euro as its shares ended flat at 211 euro.

Second by turnover with 109,000 euro were ordinary shares of power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE:KODT], which are part of the wider equity index. They fell 0.63% to close at 1,590 euro.

None other equity marked a daily turnover above the 100,000 euro mark.

Among the blue chips, shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] rose 0.67% to 30.10 euro, food and pharmaceuticals manufacturer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] went up 0.64% to 157.50 euro and shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] appreciated 1.20% to 5.08 euro.
