EBRD okays 3.5 mln euro loan to N. Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka

June 19 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Wednesday it has approved a senior unsecured loan of up to 3.5 million euro ($3.8 million) to North Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka Skopje [MSE:KMB] to support residential green investments.

Komercijalna Banka will use the funds to provide loans for investments in high-performance energy efficiency technologies for residential buildings, construction of high energy performance residential buildings, and energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the public sector, the EBRD said in a project summary document.

The loan will be provided under the Western Balkans GEFF III - REPower Residential Programme.

All of the proceeds will be allocated to Green Economy Transition (GET) eligible projects.

Komercijalna Banka's shares traded at an average price of 20,861 denars ($363.6/338.6 euro) on the Skopje bourse on Tuesday, latest available bourse data shows.
