The EBRD approved a loan of up to 7 million euro under the Green Finance Facility for on-lending to local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for Green Economy Transition (GET) eligible projects, it said in a project summary document.

The loan will be provided in two tranches of 2 million euro and 5 million euro.

The EBRD will also provide a loan of up to 4 million euro under the Western Balkans GEFF III REPower Residential programme. The loan proceeds will finance the Sparkasse Bank's gender-responsive lending for residential investments in renewable energy and energy-efficient technologies.
