Croatia's Luka Ploce minority shareholder requests dividend

June 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian pension fund manager PBZ Croatia Osiguranje, a minority shareholder of Adriatic port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC], requested a dividend payment of 6.50 euro per share of the port operator's total profit of 10.3 million euro for 2023, Luka Ploce said on Monday.

PBZ Croatia Osiguranje proposed the disbursement of 2.7 million euro of the profit as dividend and the retention of the remaining 7.5 million euro, according to the proposal filed by the port operator to the Zagreb bourse.

The management of the port operator last month proposed to retain the entire profit.

The shareholders will vote on the proposal on June 19.

Last year, they decided to retain the net profit of 49.8 million kuna ($7.2 million/6.6 million euro) for 2022.

The company’s shares last traded on Friday, closing 0.79% higher at 127 euro.

PBZ Croatia Osiguranje is its third largest shareholder, with a share of 8.22% according to bourse data.
