Bulgaria's customs agency signs 3.1 mln euro deal with local tie-up

SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Customs Agency said on Thursday that it has signed a 6.0 million levs ($3.4 million/3.1 million euro) contract with a local consortium for the construction of water infrastructure at Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint, on the border with Turkey.

The deal was signed on December 9, 2019, the Customs Agency said in a notice.

The awarded consortium comprises Veliko Tarnovo-based company Building Comfort and Sofia-based Stroynorm, which hold stakes of 98.5% and 1.5%, respectively.

The contracting authority has received three offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract. Bids in the tender were ranked based on price with a 40% weight and on various quality criteria.
