Albania opens 2 mln euro tender for road signage improvement

June 18 (SeeNews) - The Albanian road authority, ARRSH, said on Tuesday it has opened a tender for the improvement of road signage in seven key segments in the southern part of the country, under a budget estimated at 208 million leks ($2.2 million/2 million euro).

The project involves marking roads with thermoplastic striping and spray painting, installing solar-powered lighting pillars, applying bicomponent paste for horizontal speed limiters and installing special tires with metal structure and rubber joints on bridges, ARRSH said in a tender notice.

Prospective bidders must be able to complete the project within six months.

Offers can be submitted until July 5.
