December 12 (SeeNews) - Turkish home furniture maker Dogtas Kelebek said it started talks for the acquisition of a 51% stake in the Montenegrin unit of Turkish sector player Sancakli Mobilya.
The potential acquisition of the Montenegrin company is in line with Dogtas Kelebek's plans to increase the sustainability of chair supplies and expand to the European markets in the medium term, it said in a filing with Turkey's Public Disclosure Platform (PDP) on Monday.

Montenegro Wood Sancakli, the Montenegrin unit of Sancakli Mobilya, operates a production facility in Rozaje, in the country's east. The facility has a 15,000 sq m of outdoor and 10,000 square metres of indoor area, Dogtas Kelebek said.
Dogtas Kelebek operates production facilities located in Duzce, in northeastern Turkey, with an indoor area of 40,000 sq m.
