Interested bidders can submit their proposals by September 28, Pustaticnik said in an public invitation published on Wednesday.

The results of the sale will be announced within 15 days after the deadline.

The previous tender was opened in late April and ended inconclusively in the beginning of July.

In January, local media reported that Air Adriatic, a Slovenian company owned by local businessman Izet Rastoder, has bought Adria Airways' operating licence at an auction with a starting price of 45,000 euro.

Bankruptcy proceedings against Adria Airways opened in October after in late September the troubled air carrier suspended flights over lack of funds to run its daily operations.

In May, state news agency STA reported that Adria Airways' creditors had submitted 151 million euro worth of claims, with the bankruptcy trustee accepting as eligible 87.7 million euro of them, including 15 million euro worth of claims sought by former company employees.

Adria Airways is controlled by German-owned fund 4K Invest via its wholly-owned subsidiary AA International Aviation Holding GmbH. It bought the airline in 2016 from Slovenian sovereign holding company SDH, which is coordinating the privatisation process in the country. Since then, the airline has sold all of its planes and leased them back to service its operations.

According to Adria Airway's 2018 financial report, the carrier's fleet comprised 19 airplanes, all of them operated under lease.
