May 22 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia rose by 11.5% year-on-year in March, following a 13.1% yearly increase in February, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 16% on the year in March, reaching 40,496 denars ($713.8/658.1 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, by 21.3%, was recorded in the public administration and defence and compulsory social security sectors, followed by the education sector with a 20.5% increase.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia added 2.2% in March.
