N. Macedonia's building permits down 22% y/y in Apr

The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in April went down 16.6% on the year to 5.7 billion denars ($99.3 million/92.9 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.

Of the total number of permits, 136 were for new buildings, 56 were for civil engineering projects and 65 were for reconstruction projects.

Of the total, 257 permits were issued to private individuals.

During the review period, 710 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 55,611 sq m.
