JYSK Serbian arm's EBIT falls in FY 2022/23

December 1 (SeeNews) - The Serbian arm of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said that its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) decreased to 1.2 billion dinars ($11.2 million/10.3 million euro) in fiscal year 2022/23 ended August 31, from 1.3 billion dinars in fiscal year 2021/22.

JYSK Serbia's turnover grew 3.2% on the year to 7.8 billion dinars in the review period, the retailer said in a press release on Thursday.

The company has been operating in Serbia since 2011 and has 46 stores in the country, employing over 400 staff.

JYSK operates in 50 countries, employing 26,500 people in over 3,000 stores.
