BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), September 20 (SeeNews) – Bosnian furniture manufacturer Standard plans to open 200 new jobs, local media reported on Thursday.

The company needs to hire more more workers after winning a tender last week, daily Nezavisne Novine (www.nezavisne.com) said, quoting the company’s management board president Edin Dacic. It provided no further details about the tender.

Standard, which cooperates with Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA, currently employs 339 workers.

Standard (www.standard-prnjavor.com) is based in Prnjavor in the Serb Republic, one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
