Belgrade bourse BELEX15 drops as NIS declines

June 19 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange declined on Wednesday, pulled down by losses in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.

The BELEX15 slid 0.06% down, closing at 984.93 points.

NIS was the sole blue-chip decliner on Wednesday, shedding 0.49% to close at 812 dinars as 163 shares traded.

At the other end, insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the sole blue-chip gainer, adding 0.21% to close at 968 dinars in the single largest turnover of 483,000 dinars for the day.

The only other blue chip that traded on Wednesday was Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO]. It closed flat at 1,900 dinars with 8 of its shares changing hands.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also declined, edging 0.03% down at 2,198.04 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 1.5 million dinars ($18,400/17,800 euro) on Wednesday from 3.5 million dinars on Tuesday.
