Slovenia’s Perutnina Ptuj Group buys Croatia's Toni – deal advisor

May 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian poultry producer Perutnina Ptuj acquired Croatian grains wholesaler Toni, a managing partner with the Croatian consultancy advising the seller said on Monday.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval, Andrej Grubisic, managing partner at Grubisic & Partners, said in a Linkedin post. He did not disclose the value of the deal.

According to data from Croatia’s court registry, the founder of Toni is Antun Marodi. The company is based in Donji Kraljevec, in northern Croatia.

Toni posted a net profit of 1.6 million euro ($1.7 million) on revenue of 24 million euro in 2023, according to data available from Finance Analytics - Dun & Bradstreet. In 2022, its revenue was 30.4 million euro.

Perutnina Ptuj is a leading food company in Southeast Europe, with more than than 4,600 employees. It is owned by Ukraine's Mironivsky Hliboproduct (MHP).
